Has anyone ever been to Hocking Hills? I am looking to maybe go to the Hocking Hills area in Ohio and would like some advice on cabin rentals. There are so many to choose from, so that makes it a little difficult to decide on which one rent! Any help would be appreciated!

Hocking Hills Ohio campsites? Does anybody know where there is good camping sites with cabins or cottages in Hocking Hills Ohio. I'm looking for something somewhat secluded for about 6-12 people also hopefully near some scenic sites. I've never been there before and trying to plan a camping trip. Hopefully someone out there has been there before and knows some good spots.

Ohio - Wedding - Cabins - Hocking Hills - Or like? We went to Hocking Hills for his birthday 2 years ago. We went to Salt Fork this year with the kids ages 5 and 3. Has anyone had anything similar for weddings. How does it turn out. I saw in a magazine in Hocking Hills a wedding at Ash Cave I think. Looked nice. Not sure about walking there in the heels, lol. Any suggestions. Thank You. We are very limited on funds. And not sure how to go about with family and friends. We dont have alot of ethier. Do we have to pay for everyone...Or just make it private with maybe his mom to help with the kids and leave it open if anyone wants the option to come. Im very unsure on how to go about this!

We are planning a route through America which are the best places to see? We are driving through from Detroit Michigan to Tampa Florida and are trying to find places to go, we have been advised that Hocking Hills Ohio is worth a visit, and Jacksonville, Speedway and Knoxville but still keen to hear more about places in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabamma, Georgia and North Florida as we really don't want to miss any of the goodspots...
Hocking Hill Ohio cabins....? We went for our first time last Sept and staied at White Wolf from Lazy Lane Cabins...It was super nice and clean! We are wanting to go again soon when the warmer wheather comes in, we are going this time with the kids..4 and 2..Ive spoke to Lazy Lanes on which cabins are better for the kids...Does anyone else any other cabins for familys that have been nice and clean?
cabins in ohio for up to 20 guests? dear yahoo answerers, I am looking for cabins close to Galion, ohio the longest drive being an hour. I need a cabin that comfortably accomodates 18-20 people. I have already googled EVERYTHING. And I've been to the hocking hills website but it was just to far of a drive. the cabin has to be open around christmas. i am planning my wedding and i need some good ideas for the theme? my colors are lavender and royal purple I am getting married at the hocking hills wedding chapel in Ohio...if you don't know....it is and outdoors invironment. the ceremony will be in the gazebo and the reception will be in a small banquet room but my dress is princess/ball gown like.......so what is a good theme??

Input on this....Wedding outside near or far? Input on my thoughts...Id like an outside wedding with a gazebo or something at Hocking Hills, Ohio or Put in Bay, Ohio. We are in Akron, Ohio. And have few friends and family. Which most wont be able to travel to ethier. Should we just find something like that nearby? To have more people celebrate with us? With the traveling - Do we pay for guests or just our families? There is no wedding party other than our kids. Well he may want a best man - Does that mean I need a MOH? I want a wedding dress. Should there be a wedding after being married by a judge? I just found out today that my 18 year old daughter got married by a judge 5 days ago. She has been acting strange since then and I asked her why she was smiling so much. She said nothing. I asked her if she got married she said no. I asked her now husband and he said yes we were going to tell you. Needless to say I was hurt. My daughter has always wanted a small wedding (Gatlinburg) or (Hocking Hills) so I was really surprised about this. She is not pregnant, I am a nurse and had her take a blood test which was negative (just to ease my mind). He is 24 years old, 2 years out of the Army and owns his home and is really a nice guy. My daughter told me tonight she would like to have a wedding. Am I wrong to disagree? I told her I would have her a "Wedding Shower" but I feel a wedding is ridiculous since she didn't want to include me in the first place. What do you think? Thank you!
Feelings Guilty...should i be? My grandparents from korea stayed over for like 3 weeks. for the first week we just relaxed at home and went hiking a little. 1 week we went to vacation to N.Y. and D.C. and for the next week i wuz away for bible school at church. and then the other few days we ate at a restaurant, and my family went to hocking hills to hike but i was too tired to go. So my grandparents left today to go back, but last night my dad told us to all go to the airport, so he would wake us up. But this morning he didnt really wake us up. it always takes me 3 tried to wake up, but the next thing i knew they were gone! My mom said she tried to wake us up but we didnt. they had left to go to the airport without me and my bro cuz they thought we were sleeping! And the last thing i said to my grandparents last night waz "Good night" I wanted to say goodbye because i wouldnt see them for a year...and now they're gone! :( now i feel all guily that i didnt have a chance to say goodbye. Should i feel guilty? cant email them (they dont have an email or a computer)lol. and cant write.(dont know their korean addresss!!!! ) SHOULD I FEEL GUILTY FOR NOT WAKING UP AND SAYING GOODBYE?

We like cabins but not B&B and have been many times to Hocking Hills. We like shopping, hot tub, hiking and winter sports. Looking for something really different. Help!
Do You Know Of Any Unique Getaways In Ohio?? By unique I mean no amusement parks, not the rock and roll hall of fame, no baseball games or football games. Don't get me wrong I like all those things, It's just that I am looking for a hole in the wall type place, a unique bed and breakfast, maybe an old cabin or cottage. Somewhere that's not widely advertised even...I have already looked around the hocking hills area and having been there so many times it just doesnt seem exciting. Living in Ohio we've been to all the major attractions (the zoos and such) so those are out too. This is for a honeymoon we never had by the way.... actually I disagree there are lots of things to do in Ohio that are fun! It's just that I don't want to do the same old thing, and neither of us are on parole but would have to remain close as we would be leaving our children in someone elses care...

Weekend trip from Columbus Ohio? Me and my husband want to take a quick weekend getaway, somewhere with in driving distance. We will be leaving from central Ohio and are willing to drive up to 8 hours. Just want something fun but relaxing, a quiet getaway. We have already done Hocking Hills, we really enjoyed that but are looking for something different. We are both just completely stumped...any suggestions?

Cabins in Ohio? Hey...I have been looking for cabins in Hocking Hills Ohio...I practicaly looked at them all. The one I like the best is on this website: www.madisoncabin.com unfortunatly they don't answer there phones or reply to my emails....Does anybody know why...can you help me reach them?..or are those cabins closed or something....Thanks in advance...

Can he just charge it to my account?!? So four of my friends and myself, stayed in these cabins in hocking hills. I paid with a debit card. We had a lot of fun and all, but one of my friends broke a storm window that was in a closet. So without my authorization, or knowledge, the owner of the cabins, withdrew 107 dollars from my accound with my debit, and made my account negative. Before we left, we left a note explaining that it was an accident, and she is willing to pay for it, but to please not use my account. She left her phone number and he never called until he took it out of my account. Now i suddenly can't get through on the phone, and keep getting voicemail! Can he legally do that?! what should i do? I didn't sign anything, it was all over the phone....He didnt say anything about it.

Should I have gone or no? I came back from youth group vacation bible school yesterday. it wuz 4 days long and we slept at church but we only got like 12 hours of sleep all togehter cuz everyone wuz talking and stuff and we waked up at 7 am every morning to worship. so the day i came back i couldnt rest or sleep cuz i had to go to a restraunt with my family and didnt have time to rest. and i went to sleep that night at like 12? and i woke up this morning at around 10. My dad wanted to take us to hocking hills where my grandparents and my family would go hiking. i wanted to go but i wuz so tired when he asked, so is said (im tired) and my dad said i should rest. But my grandparents are leaving in 3 days and i wont see them until next year. so i want to go now but i dont know if i would have the strength to hike even though i love hiking. and they wont come back until nite. my sister (shes 15) is with me cuz she decided to sleep all day. so yah. i wanted to go but im tired rite now. should i have gone?

Several wedding questions....TIA? Small not far away outside wedding maybe. Interested in Put n Bay and Hocking Hills- Ohio. Im also in Ohio, Akron. I have a small family and then I also have two young kids. Not too many friends. So Im sure not too many people would be able/willing to travel to ethier place. Should I still invite? With an outside wedding - Is there a back up place/plan if theres really bad weather? Do we need to have a reception. It will be small, I would be happy even if its just family. Where would a small reception be? Do we need a wedding party? (but my kids would be flower girl/ring boy) With bridemaid/maid of honner - I do have a sister but I think Id rather a friend instead if I must. Is that ok. I dont want to hurt sister, When I was 16 she had me as a bridemaid when she married her ex and I think it was just so I was involved. So I dont know if I have to repay that back. With the ceramony being outside do we still get music?
