Has anyone ever heard of Logan Lake BC? Please answer...it is in the interior the heart of the highland valley i know whwere it is! i live there! i just want to know what people think of it?

How can I drive to Yellowstone NP from Logan, UT? I wanna drive to Yellowstone park through south entrance, however, I searched a lot on mapquest and yahoo map, all they showed were driving through north entrance. I think driving through south entrance is faster when I started from Logan or Salt Lake city, Utah. Any hotel recommendation for this park. thanks! Plz help.

Should I move to Salt Lake City? So I have toe opertunity to move to slc. im from canada and im not sure what the schooling is like. Logan, UT and Utah State University? I might be going to USU for college. I live in Texas, pretty close to Dallas and am used to a pretty decent sized city and life. Is there a lot of stuff to do in Logan? Is there a lot of culture there too? I have heard that it is a really small town with not much but a lake. Anyone else have any opinions? What do you think of the first part of this story? I wrote this at work in my spare time a long time ago...what do you think? Prologue: I am convinced that no man will ever be good enough for me now. I never thought my heart could be wrenched so hard from my chest and divided so evenly between them. I have decided that if I were to meet the guy who held all of their individual good qualities I would immediately be swept off my feet and never spare another thought to those young men who showed me what I truly desired. I keep telling myself over and over that he’s out there waiting for me, searching for me. Today I spent 2 hours just lying on the sand contemplating this very subject. Could it be that I’ve fallen in love with each of them? Or do I just love how much they all say they love me? With the sand in my toes and the wind blowing my satin brown hair I couldn’t help but be overcome with a vision of the man that would take me off into the sunset. I sank deeper and deeper into that dream until the ocean waves were silenced and I could no longer feel the burn of the sun. The world disappeared around me until a faint voice brought my attention back to the surface and I saw staring down at me five pairs of eyes, the very eyes belonging to the boys I’d lost my heart to so long ago. For a few moments it was as if their eyes molded into one beautiful pair, eyes I’d seen before….but where? Chapter 1: I grew up just outside of Salt Lake City where it’s only warm for 3 months out of the year but when it is, the whole earth seems to explode in gratitude for it. That was all I needed to start feeling sick. Why did she have to go and fall in love with Bryan? The one guy she could never be with and why was I the only one who could calm her fears of him totally hating her? Christie had everything a high school girl could ever want. She was popular and not just because she was tall, slender, and gorgeous. Next to her I found myself feeling overshadowed and concerned that no one could even see me. What a fix I was in. I had talked to Bryan this morning but only to find him swooning over me as he always does. After our previous summer fling I expected him to snap out of his “love sick puppy” phase but only found him to be a really good actor. Logan, a tall and very handsome boy had the maturity of a 10 year old but was more intelligent than most adults. But his immaturity was evenly countered by Ryan’s easy temper and completely opposite body type. Paddling to Camp Paddling hard, Hector and Melinda steered their canoe into the long shadows forming on the cold, dark waters somewhere on the Minnesota and Canadian border. It was getting close to 8:30 p.m., and wisps of steam rose from the water as the cool night air settled on the north country. Melinda had paddled these waters many times, but this was Hector’s first long journey away from camp. Hector knew that Melinda had been pushing him all week, forcing him into new experiences. At first he was mad at her, but then he decided to push himself even harder. Being on the water at night, however, was scary. Night in the north woods was unlike anything Hector had ever experienced. No car horns, no police sirens. The thought of spending the night outdoors in a makeshift camp made him shudder. “Are we heading in the right direction, Melinda?” he asked. A rise in Hector’s voice revealed his discomfort and guilt. Hector knew that if he hadn’t left behind the supply bag with the compass and maps during their lunch stop, they would now be sitting around the campfire with the others. And even though Melinda was a camp guide, she had to stop to get a bearing on where they were twice since falling behind the other canoes. “If we keep heading east, we should run into Logan’s Channel. That’ll take us straight to the camp.” Her voice sounded confident, but Hector did not feel better. “Should? What happens if we don’t?” Hector was sorry he spoke. The last thing he wanted to do was give Melinda the idea that he was afraid. “Hector, would you relax?” Melinda replied. “Keep paddling and let me navigate.” Hector didn’t respond, and he didn’t turn around in case his eyes revealed just how frightened he was. All day, sitting in the front of the canoe with Melinda behind him, he was conscious of his every move, as though he had something to prove. The wail of a lone lake loon pierced the evening. To the right Melinda and Hector spotted the black-headed bird. It dived and disappeared. Seconds later it surfaced, this time off to the canoe’s left. The bird turned its head toward the canoe and wailed. Hector felt as though the loon were calling to them. Melinda must have felt the same because she quickly changed course. Again, the loon submerged. Hector scanned the water looking for the bird. “There it is!” Hector pointed toward a rocky outcrop. For some reason this outcrop looked familiar to Hector. The canoe followed the loon around the outcrop. With one short call, the loon sank and disappeared. The canoeists searched the water but saw nothing. Then, out of the corner of his eye, Hector noticed the soft, orange glow of a campfire and heard kids laughing and a radio playing. They had found their way back to camp. Hector experiences both external and internal conflicts in this story. Identify examples of both types of conflict, and explain why they occur.

Paddling to Camp Paddling hard, Hector and Melinda steered their canoe into the long shadows forming on the cold, dark waters somewhere on the Minnesota and Canadian border. It was getting close to 8:30 p.m., and wisps of steam rose from the water as the cool night air settled on the north country. Melinda had paddled these waters many times, but this was Hector’s first long journey away from camp. Hector knew that Melinda had been pushing him all week, forcing him into new experiences. At first he was mad at her, but then he decided to push himself even harder. Being on the water at night, however, was scary. Night in the north woods was unlike anything Hector had ever experienced. No car horns, no police sirens. The thought of spending the night outdoors in a makeshift camp made him shudder. “Are we heading in the right direction, Melinda?” he asked. A rise in Hector’s voice revealed his discomfort and guilt. Hector knew that if he hadn’t left behind the supply bag with the compass and maps during their lunch stop, they would now be sitting around the campfire with the others. And even though Melinda was a camp guide, she had to stop to get a bearing on where they were twice since falling behind the other canoes. “If we keep heading east, we should run into Logan’s Channel. That’ll take us straight to the camp.” Her voice sounded confident, but Hector did not feel better. “Should? What happens if we don’t?” Hector was sorry he spoke. The last thing he wanted to do was give Melinda the idea that he was afraid. “Hector, would you relax?” Melinda replied. “Keep paddling and let me navigate.” Hector didn’t respond, and he didn’t turn around in case his eyes revealed just how frightened he was. All day, sitting in the front of the canoe with Melinda behind him, he was conscious of his every move, as though he had something to prove. The wail of a lone lake loon pierced the evening. To the right Melinda and Hector spotted the black-headed bird. It dived and disappeared. Seconds later it surfaced, this time off to the canoe’s left. The bird turned its head toward the canoe and wailed. Hector felt as though the loon were calling to them. Melinda must have felt the same because she quickly changed course. Again, the loon submerged. Hector scanned the water looking for the bird. “There it is!” Hector pointed toward a rocky outcrop. For some reason this outcrop looked familiar to Hector. The canoe followed the loon around the outcrop. With one short call, the loon sank and disappeared. The canoeists searched the water but saw nothing. Then, out of the corner of his eye, Hector noticed the soft, orange glow of a campfire and heard kids laughing and a radio playing. They had found their way back to camp. My autobiography? There is no ?, im bored and have always felt it safe to braodcast as much about me over the internet. I was born on a relativley warm winter morning on January the 14th of 1983 a.d. to a young scared girl and to an even more frightened man. Years passed and both seemed to have coped fine since they went on and had more children, though not with each other. I guess I was pretty scary after all. I grew up all over Logan County, Ohio and also in a small town not too far from Logan County called St. Marys. I spent most of my childhood trying to escape to the sweet smell of either of my grandmothers kitchen, especially the one in St. Marys. I could go swimming on a full stomach of homemade apple pies and not be reprimanded. Life there, like the lake, was Grand. I put part of the blame to both of them for my fatness to date. My childhood holds many nightmares, so to skip forward to my adolescence. I eventually moved to St. Marys and attended jr. high. and eventually graduated from high school. I did a short stint in college pursuing a law degree, but as they say, life happens, so i took a sabbatical and got married to a gentleman I only knew for 5 weeks. We lasted 3 years. Now, here is where my life begins...

What do you think of the first chapter of my story? Prologue: I am convinced that no man will ever be good enough for me now. I never thought my heart could be wrenched so hard from my chest and divided so evenly between them. I have decided that if I were to meet the guy who held all of their individual good qualities I would immediately be swept off my feet and never spare another thought to those young men who showed me what I truly desired. I keep telling myself over and over that he’s out there waiting for me, searching for me. Today I spent 2 hours just lying on the sand contemplating this very subject. Could it be that I’ve fallen in love with each of them? Or do I just love how much they all say they love me? With the sand in my toes and the wind blowing my satin brown hair I couldn’t help but be overcome with a vision of the man that would take me off into the sunset. I sank deeper and deeper into that dream until the ocean waves were silenced and I could no longer feel the burn of the sun. The world disappeared around me until a faint voice brought my attention back to the surface and I saw staring down at me five pairs of eyes, the very eyes belonging to the boys I’d lost my heart to so long ago. For a few moments it was as if their eyes molded into one beautiful pair, eyes I’d seen before….but where? Chapter 1: I grew up just outside of Salt Lake City where it’s only warm for 3 months out of the year but when it is, the whole earth seems to explode in gratitude for it. In my little town of Milcreek there was an instant change every year. It seemed that overnight all of the trees and flowers decided to bloom and the sun would finally come out to stay. With the change in weather there was also a change in spirit. This particular day happened to be the last of my senior year and due to the weather and the anticipation of graduation the entire senior class couldn’t sit still. As we sat in our graduation rehearsal watching our coaches sweat on stage just to tell us how to walk and smile, Christie tapped me on the shoulder, “Sarah did you talk to Bryan this morning?” she asked. That was all I needed to start feeling sick. Why did she have to go and fall in love with Bryan? The one guy she could never be with and why was I the only one who could calm her fears of him totally hating her? Christie had everything a high school girl could ever want. She was popular and not just because she was tall, slender, and gorgeous. Next to her I found myself feeling overshadowed and concerned that no one could even see me. What a fix I was in. I had talked to Bryan this morning but only to find him swooning over me as he always does. After our previous summer fling I expected him to snap out of his “love sick puppy” phase but only found him to be a really good actor. He had fooled Christie at least. “No I haven’t had a chance Christie, I’ll talk to him later. They were both red with laughter and I couldn’t help but chuckle as Ryan’s face contorted into some sort of animal. The dynamic duo of Logan and Ryan never failed to put a smile on my face. Logan, a tall and very handsome boy had the maturity of a 10 year old but was more intelligent than most adults. But his immaturity was evenly countered by Ryan’s easy temper and completely opposite body type. I laughed, rolled my eyes, and turned back toward the stage but not without flashing one of my own special faces at both of them. With my head turned I could hear them snickering from the image of my infamous puffer fish face. On stage coach Barnes was instructing one of the unfortunate volunteers on the proper direction to walk after receiving your fake diploma. It all seemed so unnecessary to me but if we didn't attend the assembly we couldn't receive our long awaited ten dollar refund. I was surprised at how many seniors had shown up the day before graduation just for a few bucks. Coach Barnes asked for another volunteer to do an impersonation of a tripping student. The majority of the students slunk further in their chairs until Brian jumped up. As the student body vice president it was no surprise when he volunteered for just about everything. When he passed me in the isle he grabbed my shoulder gently and smiled. Christie shot me a hurt look, folded her arms, and turned to talk to our friend Lisa. I could not wait for this nightmare to end! When the assembly ended we all shot out of our chairs and raced to be first in line for our refunds. Once through the line we were free! Utah State University? I might be going to USU for college. I live in Texas, pretty close to Dallas and am used to a pretty decent sized city and life. Is there a lot of stuff to do in Logan? Is there a lot of culture there too? I have heard that it is a really small town with not much but a lake. Anyone else have any opinions? BTW, I am not Mormon, should I have any trouble up there? I'm not very religious. Thanks for the input
