Is there any good parks in the area bettween Ohio and Massachusetts?

I am looking for a good roller coaster park to go to on my trip to the east, and I am already going to Cedar Point and Six Flags Great Adventure. I am looking for a park in the area between the states of Ohio and Massachusetts. As south as Northern West Virgina, and Maryland, and as North as New York. And I am not looking for a park like Disneyland, I am looking for a real deal roller coaster park, biggest, fastest, and tallest. Cedar Point is a perfect example. Find a park like Cedar Point. You can give me a list and I will look those up. Thanks!

  1. Kennywood and Hershy Park

    in Pennsylvania

  2. Dorney park in Pa and i think theres something like an adventure land in maryland (i went there years ago, it was good, had a lot big rides). But dorney park is good.

  3. Cedar point, Kings Island, Hershey park, Kennywood, and Dorney park. If you want to go to NJ, theres a great park called Six Flags Great Adventure. I went there last summer and its a bunch of fun. Its good that your looking these up b/c some parks are aimed at crazy and wild rides, while some are more family oriented. (Like Hershey) Which is a big deal if you have small kids. :)

  4. I love cheese. I think you answered your own question. Cedar Point is the roller coaster capital of the WORLD. There is no other place like it. Over 64 roller coasters, most of which are broken records upon broken records of the tallest and fastest.

  5. ummm i dont quite know if this is in the area you are talking about (i'm not good with geography and stuff) but in cincinatti ohio there is a park called kings island. They have some good coasters such as tallest, fastest, steepest, longest wooden coaster and they also have a really good water park. its my second favorite park (cedar point is my favorite) and all the coasters are wonderful. i can think of 7 coasters off the top of my head but i think there is more. and i know you said you are looking for the thrills but they also have a good kiddie park if you have any little ones tagging along. its a really good park. and their halloweekends is amazing as well. but if you are going just for the coasters, then it is still a great park.

These aren't all "Cedar Point" parks, but places like Knoebel's and Lake Compounce have some of the best wooden roller coasters in the world.

    Hope this helps.
