Does anyone know of a fairly cheap yet unique place to get married in Ohio??

I do not want to get married in the Hocking Hills region or Put-In-Bay...yet that seems to be the only thing I can find information on...I'd rather it not be a church either.....:)

  1. I know you said you didn't like the hocking hills area, but you should check out ravenswood castle. there is a wedding chapel in Columbus, but I am not sure of the name. just check in the yellow pages under weddings.

    Good luck!

  2. our wedding is costing us a little over 6000 dollars. We're getting married at Oakhurst Country Club in Gove city (columbus).

    Franklin Park conservatory

    Park of Roses (Whetstone park)

    Oakhurst Country Club (my venue)

    The Darby House

    The Blackwell Inn

    The Clocktower

    Grand Host East

    Cherry Valley Lodge

Every single place i've listed is in Columbus Ohio with the exception of Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark

If you need more info, shoot me an email and I'll help you

We looked at all these places!

EDIT: Tiger is right, Franklin park conservatory is pricey, that was our first choice but we have a budget of only 6000 dollars. Thats why we're getting married at Oakhurst Country Club.

No matter what though, wedding venue's that are all inclusive, get you somewhere, we didn't pay any rental feel but our food was the cheapest out there it was like 16 dollars a head for two entree buffet

  3. yeah, the dumpster behind the applebees

  4. Kingwood Center is a Mansion surrounded by gardens. They do allow weddings, however, you cannot reserve a certain garden, so there could be some passers by. The best part is there is no charge. Kingwood is in Mansfield which is a somewhat central location in Ohio, north-central anyway.
