You are forced to kill someone who do you pick?

You wake up to find an unloaded gun in your hand in a strange room. An alien life form tells you that he comes from a species with interlinked minds. This may a code of ethics unnessary for them since they share pain. He is conducting an expirament on ethics of other species. He gives you a single bullet saying that if you don't kill someone everyone in the room will not be returned to their home world and starve. The other beings in the room are: A human being of your same gender and race but 2 years older then you. A male of another alien species the same age as you. A Hitler from a parallel universe who has acquired amnesia. The last existing female bald eagle on a parrellel universe earth. A celebrity from the future that will become popular in two years. A prehistoric cave man from the past. A kitten. Who will you kill and why? BTW the alien disappears right after you get the bullet. And you are allowed to shoot yourself.

6. well if he (the alien) is in the room so I would pick him, if not I couldn't kill someone that didn't do something horrible no matter if they have amnesia or not, the Hitler from a parallel universe obviously committed many crimes against other people so I would choose him, as if he was sent back to his own universe he would probably meet a terrible fate anyhow, and this would spare him of that.

   I sincerely would not want to be a part of this reality. My considered choice is that I be the one to avoid a future that appears to be unbalanced and unreasonable. I can't see into the possible futures of all of these beings and their possible contributions to life. I am not capable of deciding who has more value. I can, however, make a judgment about my value. I am middle aged and have 'been there - done that" and the best thing I can see myself offering to life now is the chance for the others to go on and make their own contributions to life.

   I would not kill anyone from the past - that sounds WAY to dangerous (Butterfly effect etc)

   The bald eagle perhaps, on the basis that if it almost extinct, it will be in a short enough time anyway, this just moved things on a bit. I refuse to nominate the kitten over the eagle but would not kill a person - other than the person who gave me the gun - assuming he/she was a valid choice.

   That said the "celebrity" would need to watch their step, if some tedious "wannabe" that needs to tell everyone who they are because they are so desperately Z-rate, then the bald eagle might just be saved.

15. Gee, This scenario is exactly what "God" has done with all humanity. In giving them the ability to "create", "think", "dream", "wonder" & "question"....... then act upon those things.

    Then WE (or some other entity) have to pay a price for being in the situation which it created! Or punished in some way as a result of utilizing what's naturally inherent in us.

    Its better for all to starve than to play or be a part of its sick little game!

17. If you can fantasize this big , let me add further spice saying that alien also gave me the window to others mind who were present in the room . I will then know what is there in alien world's mind ( since they are inter-linked) and then I would zero onto the alien himself whose next plan was to survey the earthy Female mind . That would have killed all the beauty of this world . The Alien must be dispensed off.No two doubts !!
