my wife is filing for her green card, but her birth certificate is in spanish. we need it legally translated and certified. i would translate it myself, but i am not legally certified to translate documents. we live in logan utah, which is close to ogden and salt lake city. is there somewhere we can take it to get translated? or is there a company or website that we can send a pdf file of the document to have it legally translated? if so, how much? thanks.
If this does not help, your best bet would be to translate it yourself and contact an Embassy ( I don't know what country your wife is from, so contact the appropriate Embassy) to legally stamp it.
If all above fails, perhaps you can call this number 1 877 2250717; I would check them out from the BBB and find out if INS would accept it before sending any money.
I hope it helps. Good luck with the Green Card. I have been applying for a green card for more than 4 years from outside of the US, no luck. Any good Immigration lawyers you know?
Cheers,
